Barriers of Adoption Comparison with Starline
We asked Copilot to compare the barriers to adoption between the Jacquard Loom and the Telegraph, and how these apply to the barriers to adoption of Google’s new “Project Starline.” Based on copilot’s response, I’d say it is “B” worthy. The reasoning behind this is because they were able to address my main question, which was to identify the differences and similarities of the two. It started by providing barriers to adoption for each. However, the statements were very broad and it only provided 3 bullet points for each . Considering this is an AI platform that can pull data from just about anywhere, I would have expected something more detailed and possibly more in depth. However, it was detailed enough for us to understand the general idea, “granting” it a B rating. The final part of the response then compared which of the two, the Jacquard Loom or the Telegraph were more similar to Google’s project Starline. This part did not need to be extremely detailed and Copilot did a very good job of making sure to get to the point right away which was that the barriers to adoption of Project Starline are more similar to those of the Telegraph.
